After 19 years, the Frank Lloyd Gallery has closed its exhibition program, and moved to a private space. During its lengthy and critically recognized tenure, the gallery served the art community of Southern California with its mission of presenting ceramic artwork in a fine art context. Building on the legacy of Modern and Contemporary ceramics, the gallery later expanded its focus to include the work of late 20th century artists who were leaders on the West Coast. In addition, the gallery brought a program of international ceramic masters to Los Angeles, exhibiting artists from England, France, Holland, Mexico and Japan. The gallery will continue to be an important source for private collectors, while working with museum curators and commercial galleries on curatorial projects and acquisitions. The gallery remains the representative of the Estate of Craig Kauffman and the Estate of Peter Voulkos, as well as the artist Larry Bell. For more information, please email info@franklloyd.com
